My Comments
I really like this card. Has some interesting samples. The oboe and bassoon sounds made me want to play the Nutcracker suite. I wish I had the sound sheet, to give the info on which tones are dual, detuned ect. They seem to be mostly like this:1 the tone 2 dual 3 detuned (chorus) 4 sharp attack muted sustain 5 detuned (phasing) 6 ?. Just stabbing in the dark but it might help you a bit. The Clarinet and Bass Clarinet are good samples and could be used to replace a sine or square wave for pads. I LOVE the french horn sounds. I started playing the verses from Comfortably Numb right away and they sounded great! In fact I added it stright away to my Cofortably Numb patch. The tuba samples have the distinctive blat on the attack. I could hear some om-pa-pa-ing going on. The tympanies are an strange but cool addition. I imagine they were tagged on because the samples would have been fairly short. Tympani 2 has a bit more in the attack. There is an mp3 sampling of the sounds on this card at Synthmania.com
