My Comments |
I thought I would save some money by buying all the bits for a drumset seperately. I have since bought 3 pads and realized I was sadly mistaken. While I don't regret buying the module, it will be some time before I have a complete drumset. All of the bits are quite expensive seperately. At first all I could do to test it out was press buttons and check it out via MIDI. I recently have bought a few pads and the unit works well, I am just not much of a drummer. I am a bit surprised though, my RS-5 from 2001 has thousands of sounds, this only has 114. Granted I do hear a few different samples when the velocity is increased on hitting the pad. There are some nice additions like the coach mode and click track. I am hoping to get a bit more use out of it when I get a few more things, like something to hold the pads. Well, live and learn. Next time I will just save up for the kit. |
