My Comments
Why would I buy this? I already had the Juno-1. The engine is IDENTICAL! Well one reason is the larger, better keyboard. Having velocity and aftertouch is pretty cool. And I got it at a pretty ok price. So I will just quickly say I think this is a FANTASTIC analogue synth! I was thinking I may sell the Juno-1, but I probably won't. Not much more I want to add. If you need to, look at what I have to say about the Juno-1 or the MKS-50, the engines are exactly the same (OK the MKS-50 is slightly different with it's new patch/tone settings). I actually don't have the keyboard yet (which is probably a bit premature of me, look at what happened to my ep-6060) but I hope to have it soon.

I now have the keyboard and it is in OK shape. There are 2 keys that don't play but I suspect they just need a cleaning. The aftertouch isn't working, this I may not be able to fix. And the display is really faded (and I thought my Juno-1 display was bad, this is really bad). So hopefully sometime soon I will open it up and fix the keys, look at the aftertouch problem and maybe I will buy a new display. It is funny that there are several differences between the 1 & 2. The back is more angled on the 2. And the big chunck of metal actually wraps around the back and the top. The top of the 1 is plastic. Oh and I got a case with this! It's also funny how I never thought much of the alphas until I got 1. And now I have the 1,2 and the 50!

So I opened it up and fixed the keys, but totally wrecked everything else. I destroyed the display and did something to the OS where it wouldn't come back for almost a week. I ended up buying an OLED display and hope I can make that work. Yep installed it yesterday and it looks awesome!!
