My Comments
SO ... I decided to buy a D-20 (and a PG-10) to learn how to program these synths. Because I bought it right around Christmas it took FOREVER to get here. This also came with 4 cards. Pretty cool! So I have been playing with it a fair amount the last few weeks, but I honestly can't wrap my head around the sound heirarchy. It's like the Muti-timberal and Performance modes have different sounds. I just don't get it. I will have to print out the rest of the manual and try to figure this out. Because I can't seem to make heads or tails of it, even with the PG-10. Aside from that, the sounds are pretty good, I think I could make some killer ones if I knew how. It does have a rhythm pattern function which is really cool (the only other keyboard I have that has this is the Juno-Di). And the sequencer, it is simple but functional. I could probably program songs on here if I wanted. The disk drive interface was so simple it took a bit to see that was all there was to it. So I saved a couple of bad sequences and the sound set from the previous owner. It has an odd sound palate. Obviously bells are it's forte, but it makes a lot of interesting but non-musical noises as well. I hope I catch on to it's sound hierarchy, because until I do, there aren't alot of inspiring sounds here. There is a lot of good stuff here. So I want to love it, but I can't.
I rate it
I bought it for 520$ c
I owned it from Jan 2023 - present

cosmeticaly Just a bit dusty, well loved
electronicallyUsed but seems fine
Status
2023: I now have it tucked into the main rig on the left hand side, under the Juno-2.

I honestly don't know where to put it. I have a stand for it, but there is no more room in my music space. It is in my TV room for now.
